The “Tre Mori” Company has been synonymous with quality and reliability for over sixty years. The use of scrupulously selected raw materials, their production carried out with craftsmanlike care, and constant commitment to quality are the strong points of this expanding firm.
Tre Mori is one of the few companies which directly follow each stage of barley production: the barley used by Tre Mori only comes from the crops of the hilly areas of the Marches; the origin certified seeds are not genetically modified and the cultivation is carried out without using chemical substances; the roasting is made slowly and at a low temperature, all that resulting in a certified top quality product. Tre Mori has been the first firm to rediscover a very appreciated variety of barley: “Orzo Mondo”. Orzo Mondo means ‘hulless or naked barley’ and it was introduced in the early years of the 20th century, but was then neglected and replaced by other poorer but more profitable varieties. A collaboration agreement between the farmers and Tre Mori binds the first to grow this type of barley within established parameters and the company to collect all of the production at a prearranged price which is much higher than the price of common barley.
The production of ‘torrone’ (a kind of nougat) started with the traditional ‘Mandorlato’ (almond ‘torrone’) from a Master Confectioner’s recipe. Over time the range of ‘torroni’ has been enriched with other specialties and now it includes a good 17 different flavours, still maintaining quality and taste.
It is an energy bar produced from high quality noble raw materials such as dried fruit, seeds and chocolate with the addition of ginseng; the mixture of these ingredients provides the right amount of energy for a recharge when studying, working or during sport activities.
From the union of anise with fennel, mallow, and licorice (all with carminative and digestive properties) we have created an ideal infusion to end a hearty meal or simply to promote and help digestion.
