This eu-japan-brt.eu website is managed by the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation ("We"). This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use this website. We have two offices – in Japan and in Belgium – your personal information may be shared between our offices.

What information do we collect about you?
If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it. We collect personal information about you when you voluntarily complete a web-form to register for a place at a BRT meeting or to provide feedback or ask a question.

How will we use the information about you?

• Where you have registered to take part in a BRT meeting, the information you submitted will be used to help organise your participation.
  It will be used primarily by us, but we may also share part or all of it with the BRT co-Chair companies.
  
  
• Where you submitted information to give feedback or ask a question, that information will be used to respond to you.
  We would like to be able to send you information about our other activities and services which we think may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing, you can opt out at a later date. At any time, you have the right to stop us contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes please email us.

Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information please email us. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up-to-date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is accurate or do not want us to retain. If you agree, we will try to deal with your request informally, for example by providing you with the specific information you need over the telephone.
Please inform us if you think that our collection or use of information is unfair, misleading or inappropriate. We would also welcome any suggestions for improving our procedures.
