Langhe Arneis
Wines

Grape variety: 100% Arneis

Vinification: grapes picked by hand are stored in basket to avoid warming processes. At first a small quantity of them is picked and destemmed, it is the fermentation foot, obtained by natural fermentation of indigenous yeast. When the fermentation starts to be strong, 1/2 of the available grapes is picked, destemmed and added to the fermenting must. Then, when the mass gets to 50% of sugar left, it is cleared of the skin and remaining grapes are softly pressed.  Juice is chilled to be cleaned of natural sediment; after we add it to the fermenting mass. This is done in several times, leaving this way the must reaching 17° C of temperature as highest. Usually the fermentation time takes average 40 days. After that the wine is kept on noble lees for about 8-9 months before preparing for bottling, after a light filtration.

Colour: Shimmering intense golden with light greenish nuances.

Nose: Persistent, with intense floral and fruity notes, deeply turning on pear and a touch of hazelnut. Taste: Intense fruit approach, followed by butter, honey and freshness, nice salty sensation. It shows quite a body for being a white no wood, persistence and balance. In some vintages it presents the light tannic note typical of the variety.

Notes: this wine is far away from the known citric- pinot grigio style of the common Arneis wines. The winemaker likes to bring to the taster all the peculiarities of the grape, which is complex and reach, known as “the white Nebbiolo”.

The wine is organic, certified by Ecogruppo Italia and as Punset doesn’t use animal products in the entire process, the wine is 100% vegan friendly

Punset
Punset is a family-owned estate since 4 generation. Marina Marcarino, owner and winemaker, is the first of the family starting since very young to run the winery as a job. Before of her Punset was a lovely hobby started with her grand-grand-father (the family business was constructions) and wine was made for family use. Marina, at the age of 20, while still student, switched the vineyard to organic growing. It was year 1982 and this was the only estate working organic in the whole region (even one of the very few in Italy). With the first Italian organic regulation, in 1987, the winery officially git the certification, showing the first organic label in year 1991. Since year 1990 Punset uses biodynamic practices as well and in year 2007 Marina was fascinated by the Masanobu Fukuoka agricultural method and started to follow it for growing the vineyards. Marina Marcarino strongly believes in the typicity and uniqueness of the terroir, in the expression of the variety and, for that reason, since the beginning of the nineties she decided to work totally natural in the winemaking too, skipping selected yeast in favor of indigenous, avoiding strong clarifications, stabilizations and filtrations. A very low addition of sulfites before bottling support the wine for the long aging.
Punset wines get long refining, and they are released on the market when balanced and expressive, able to last for many years.  Settled in Neive, in the Langhe Region, the core product of Punset is the Barbaresco wine which represents the main expression of the philosophy described. The estate, 17 hectares, only grown autochthonous varieties: Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera, Arneis and Nascetta, in harmony with Marina’s thought.
What we like to underline is that the winery philosophy is against to slip in the “strange corner” of organic and natural. Our thinking is that organic should be the plus and all the wines should stand on the market with high quality and appreciation, together with the wine world. In the year, best wine critics and guides give to Punset wines outstanding scores and reviews, confirming that it is possible to work organic and natural with high quality standards.

Domaine du Chateau de la Violette
The Domaine du Château de la Violette, created in 1953, was taken over by Charles-Henri Gayet in the 2000s. Located in the town of Les Marches, the vineyard has grown from 7 hectares to 30 hectares today.
The vineyard is entirely grassed and managed in a reasoned manner to limit treatments as much as possible. Throughout the year, the team strives to take particular care in monitoring the vines, maturities and harvest. The estate has been committed for several years to a reasoned cultivation process of the vine.
These efforts were also rewarded in 2019 with the obtaining of the High Environmental Value Level 3 label, which justifies agriculture that is more respectful of the environment, governed by very rigorous specifications, created and controlled by the French state.
This environmental certification of agricultural holdings is made up of three different levels, the requirements of which are articulated around four themes: the development and maintenance of biodiversity, a reasoned phytosanitary strategy, controlled fertilizer management and adapted water resources management.

Crémant de Luxembourg: Cuvée Melusiner
The Crémant de Luxembourg – Cuvée Melusiner is a significant achievement by the Domaine L&R Kox. At least seven years on the lees for this cuvée which effortlessly balances richness and freshness, power and finesse. A perfectly mastered fine bubble and a remarkable length in the mouth complete this great sparkling wine.
This cuvée is a tribute to the legend of the beautiful Melusina, the wife of the Count of Luxembourg Siegfried. When Melusina accepted to marry the Count, she insisted on one condition: she needed to be alone every Saturday. The Count swore on his honour that he would meet this demand. However, driven by jealousy, he ends up spying on her and discovers that in these days his wife’s feet were replaced by a fish tail. Melusina, who discovered the betrayal, disappeared into the waters of the Alzette where she reappears every seven years. Just like Melusina this crémant « reappears » only after seven years of bottle ageing – a cuvée at the top of the hierarchy of Crémants de Luxembourg!

Domaine L&R Kox
The first traces of the Kox family's ancestors date back to 1680 with the immigration of the Coex, Dutch people from Bergeijk. The family name was subsequently changed from Coex, to Cox, and finally to Kox. Historical records registered the Kox family as owners of vineyards in 1848. In 1908, Joseph Kox-Tabouring, the grandfather of the current owner, bought plot 317 at a place called "Groussebongert". In 1909 he built the Kox estate (winery and stables). In 1964, François Kox-Risch, the father of the current owner, bought the estate. He was the first member of the family to make winegrowing his profession. In 1977, Laurent Kox, the son of François took over the winery. The first Crémant de Luxembourg produced by the Kox winery was in 1991. Since then, Laurent Kox has specialized in high quality sparkling wines. In July 2014 the daughter of Corinne Kox installed two amphora-shaped clay vessels produced in Georgia (kvevris) and vinified the first orange wines made in Luxembourg.

Vin Orange - Kvevri
This orange wine is vinified in one of the Georgian kvevris installed at the winery. All our grapes are manually selected and harvested. For these kvevri wines mostly Riesling and Pinot Blanc are used. After harvesting the grapes are destemmed. Skin maceration takes place during 1 to 5 months. The wine then ages in the kvevri for 1 to 5 more months on lees.
This orange wine reveals at first the typical citrus notes of a grape variety. Plunging deeper into what this orange wine has to offer, a rare complexity and elegance are uncovered. A "Kox Coup de coeur"!

Bodega Las Virtudes
Villena has been a land of wines for hundreds of years, so it is also a land of wineries. Many of these little cellars merged to form Bodega Las Virtudes in 1961, bringing together the tradition and know-how of this wine region. A significant expansion took place in 1972, which is also when we acquired the oak barrels from which the mother solera of our Fondillón wine, the most beautiful jewel of the Alicante region, comes from. Nowadays, we benefit from the most advanced technology, allowing us to have full control over our production.
We have a nice range of wines including BIO products, mainly elaborated with Monastrell under the Alicante PDO, with different lines for Horeca and Retailers. We are also working hard in the preservation of our rich wine heritage developing our Patrimonio Monastrell Project with Parcel Wines from the oldest and best vineyards.
Furthermore, we are one of only 10 wineries worldwide that produce Fondillon, special and typical Alicante dessert wine with 10 years of aging that kings and several literary geniuses have written about throughout history.
We also produce high quality Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil with native varieties of olives in our own facilities.

Patojo ecológico 10 months in barrel – red wine
Patrimonio Monastrell is a project of Bodega Las Virtudes that revalues the old goblet and dry-farmed vineyards of the Monastrell variety. Our most precious treasure is our winegrowers, who with their work and experience that goes back to centuries of family tradition, have kept alive a grape variety and a way of cultivation that has proven to be very sustainable for our environment. This is the origin of Patojo, from certified organic vineyards and matured in new French and American oak barrels for ten months.
We can find aromas of black plum and some blueberry, wax, spicy wood, clove and exotic pepper, eucalyptus, red tea, cocoa. With unctuous palate, full-bodied and a measured Mediterranean acidity, savoury toast and sweet smoke aromas.  Long and pleasant final.

Bodegas Palacio De Lerma
The wine tradition of a family with centuries of wine making. Currently our project consists of the recovery of old vineyards and the production of natural and alternative wines with their grapes. "Forgotten Treasures" is the name we give to our project. Through this project we recover ancestral vineyards. We take care of them and with sustainable agriculture we take care of them to produce the usual grapes. They are true treasures, contain different varieties of grapes mixed with centuries-old vines, vineyards in glasses of irregular lines and very limited productions. From these vineyards, which are in borderline areas of production, high areas, areas surrounded by bush and nature, we take the grapes to make our wines more radikales, our Radikalwines.
We produce micro vinification of plots and of extreme vineyards, vineyards of height, looking for the radicality, the purity and typicity of the area as an element of identity. I want my wines to taste the extreme landscape from which they come. I want unusual, extraordinary wines for minorities, more than common wines that are drinkable for most.
