EU-Japan Support Mission in the Space sector Link & Launch Workshop

September 07 2017

【Overview】

Hokkaido, the northernmost of Japan’s main islands which covers 20% of the country’s land area and boasts a rich natural environment, has geographic similarities to Europe. The affluent primary sector in the region implies a vast potential of untapped areas which can benefit from space technologies. The workshop will link together European and Japanese companies (especially SMEs) for future business collaboration and partnerships, introducing the potential application of space technology in other industries through presentations of successful case studies involving the utilization of Space and Earth observation assets around applications in Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Farming, Logistics and more.
