The LEAN IN EUROPE VISITS ran from 2013 to 2024 and consisted of two-day activities - an evening group discussion and networking dinner on the first night and a site visit with detailed explanations, a gemba tour and debriefing on the morning and early afternoon of the second day. The LEAN CAFÉ - SHARING LEAN THINKING IN A FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE : From late 2020 to early 2022, the COVID pandemic meant that physical visits could not be organised. The EU-Japan Centre therefore created a virtual Lean Café to host discussions around lean, with a different featured company / expert giving the opening presentation and responding to questions and comments.
