The LEAN IN EUROPE VISITS ran from 2013 to 2024 and consisted of two-day activities - an evening group discussion and networking dinner on the first night and a site visit with detailed explanations, a gemba tour and debriefing on the morning and early afternoon of the second day. They were designed to inspire the participants along their companies' lean journeys and provide valuable feedback to the host companies. Learn more |
The LEAN CAFÉ - SHARING LEAN THINKING IN A FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE : From late 2020 to early 2022, the COVID pandemic meant that physical visits could not be organised. The EU-Japan Centre therefore created a virtual Lean Café to host discussions around lean, with a different featured company / expert giving the opening presentation and responding to questions and comments.
