Japan-Estonia Defense Industry Exchange Seminar Strengthens Bilateral Cooperation
The Japan-Estonia Defense Industry Exchange Seminar, held during Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur’s visit to Japan, fostered collaboration between Estonian and Japanese defense companies. Organized in cooperation of the ATLA, JADI and Embassy of Estonia in Tokyo, the event strengthened bilateral ties, facilitating future cooperation in defense technology and innovation.

EU-Alliance: defence and security mission in Japan
The European partnership EU-Alliance organises a mission in Japan in March 2023, for European SMEs whose activities are related to technical textiles, connectivity, advanced technologies, and advanced materials, for dual-use applications in the security and defence markets.
Defence Industrial Cooperation
The implementation of the European Defence Fund is well on tracks. Results from the 2019/2020 programme demonstrate that companies controlled by third countries can actually participate and be funded. Next calls for proposals should be published before the Summer break.
