Italian Pavilion at Interior Lifestyle Tokyo 2024
Italy celebrated the theme of Italian Design Day 2024 by showcasing its design and lifestyle at the dedicated Interior Lifestyle exhibition in Tokyo.
2024: Hundreds of Italian fashion and food companies in Japan
Two events organized by the Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Embassy saw a massive participation of Italian companies. In February, “Moda Italia” & “Shoes from Italy”, in their 63rd and 73rd editions respectively, presented the latest Italian Fall-Winter fashion collections 2024/2025. In March, at the 49th Foodex Japan, Italy showcased its best food & beverage production.
33rd edition of the Italy-Japan Business Group Assembly
Held in Tokyo on 6-8 November, the 33rd General Assembly of the Italy-Japan Business Group represented three intense days of exchange, dialogue and collaboration, in the name of cooperation between the two countries.
ITALIA Pavilion at CPHI JAPAN 2023 with 13 companies
The Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Embassy has organized a national pavilion at the 20th edition of CPHI JAPAN (19-21 April 2023) with 13 companies. The aim of the participation to the tradeshow was to promote the excellence of Made in Italy, to show the high level of development achieved by Italian production techniques, and to strengthen the presence of the Italian pharmaceutical industry in the Japanese market, increasing the business opportunities for the companies.

Italy and Japan signed an MoU to cross-support their start-up activities
During the 32nd IJBG Assembly held in Venice on 1 December 2022, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) agreed to cooperate, mutually supporting the two countries’ start-up companies to develop their businesses respectively in Japan and in Italy.

Two main events took place in autumn to promote Italian enogastronomic culture and its products: World Pasta Day and the 7th “Settimana della Cucina Italiana”.
Italian Pavilions at Bio Japan and Japan Home & Building Show
Thanks to the recent New Border Measure adopted by the Japanese Government, foreign businessmen started to come back to Japan.
