In this webinar, the presenter Mr. Hurtado who was directly involved in the establishment of the bill at the Directorate General of Taxation and Customs of the European Commission will talk directly about the mechanism of CBAM, the introduction schedule and scope, coordination with related countries and international organizations such as WTO.

Speaker Mr. Tanaka was involved in many international negotiations and economic partnerships while working for the government and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for many years. He also played a leading role in Japan-EU EPA negotiations and industrial policy dialogue with the European Commission. This time, he will gives us some suggestions on what Japan's politics and economics must do and the industry should be like including the strengthening and expansion of the EU-Japan partnership.
