About the Report:
This report titled 'Contract Management Vol. 1 - Management of Credits and Liabilities' is intended to help EU companies with the management of credits and liabilities when establishing contracts in Japan with Japanese business partners. It begins by covering the various laws and statutes regarding credits and liabilities in Japan as well as the various types and functions of contracts in Japan. Next, it discusses the forthcoming revisions in the Japanese civil code, and their implications for EU companies interested in expanding into Japan. It also covers the various dispute resolution mechanisms for credit and liability-related matters in Japan. Finally, this report also provides advice on preparing contracts in Japan so as to prepare against the risk of default.
