In Japan, good design goes beyond beauty and is a driving force behind society’s development. Good designs have to be of great quality, purpose and be seen as such by consumers.

There already are many collaborations between European and Japanese designers, and the Covid-19 crisis has shown how design and home furniture is of great importance for Japanese spending increasing time at home.
